Mr. R Narayan

A cost accountant by training, sales and marketing professional by choice and an entrepreneur by passion, Narayan has over 26 years of general management, sales & marketing experience. An entrepreneur for the last 19 years, with a strong corporate background, Narayan started his career working in sales and marketing profile across Microsoft, Oracle and Tata.

After working closely with SME segment for more than a decade, he realised that there is a substantial difference in procurement pricing for large enterprises as compared to SMEs. He then co-founded Denave India Pvt Ltd, India's largest technology powered sales enabling services company, where he continues to be a board member.

He spearheaded Denave’s growth over the first 13 years as the CEO of the company before laying the foundation of Power2SME, the first ‘Buying Club’ for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India. Under his stewardship, Power2SME enjoys a position of prominence in sectors in which it operates. Responsible for the overall profitability and performance of the organization, he has an impressive track record of developing robust business strategies and taking the company to new heights.

Narayan has been honored with many laurels and accolades and he is widely acclaimed for his contribution to the SME sector. Recently declared the Entrepreneur of the Year, Narayan is a recognized thought leader across policy, SME and entrepreneurial platforms. Power2SME was awarded the Forbes India Leadership Award for “Outstanding Startup” in 2018 under his able stewardship.

Girish Luthra is a leading entrepreneur in the field of environment, infrastructure & textiles. A textile engineer & management graduate by education. His keen understanding and interest in the fields of environment protection, waste management and industrial infrastructure has, allowed him to achieve success in a variety of businesses which include Textiles, Waste Management, Environment, Industrial Infrastructure and Hospitality.

Some of his recognitions include being a patent holder for a machine design in textiles, being the recipient of the NRDC Award by the Government of India in the year 2000 and the Young Scientist of the Year Award by the Government of Gujarat in 2003. He was an integral part of the Committee set up by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India to give recommendations in the 12th Five Year Plan for Textile and Apparel and textile policy’14. He has been the head of the Environment Committee of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry for over a decade and is the Ex-Chairman of CII, Southern Gujarat Zone.

Over the years he has been a part of several National & International Delegations, as an expert on cleaner production & hazardous waste management. He is a registered faculty on the same subjects with UNIDO & UNEP. Moreover, he has closely been involved in the projects with USAID, UNEP & CIDA for improving “Work Practice in Textiles in INDIA”.

Harjinder Kaur Talwar is managing director of Comvision and immediate former President of FICCI-FLO. She is India’s chair of the Indo-Israel Women Business Forum and the Co-Chair of the FICCI initiative, ‘The Greater 50%’ launched by Minister of WCD-Smriti Irani. Harjinder is a board member of IWEC - International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge, started by the leading chambers of the world. Harjinder chairs the Indo - Uzbekistan Business Forum in India on behalf of FICCI.

Her company Comvision is CMM level3, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013 & ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 certified & MSME (Udyam Registration) business organization. Currently, with 150+ employees and 3 offices across India, she stands tall as the only businesswoman, in the specific arena of intelligent traffic/transport solutions.

Having a computer science degree & during her initial years in business, she took upon the challenge to change the way government services were given to a citizen and gave a concept of multiple services of different government depts. under one roof to India. Her first such project “TWINS” implemented in Hyderabad in 1999 redefined the way government to citizen (G2C) services were delivered. The model was thus replicated PAN India by many other government departments and these government departments soon adopted the concept of integrated multiple services under one roof.

TWINS was also showcased to the then US President “H.E. Bill Clinton” during his maiden visit to India.

As she grew in business her company additionally went on to specialize in the road sector and today has strategic partnerships with world leaders in technologically advanced solutions in specific areas of intelligent traffic & transport. With her domain knowledge of Indian business and the best of technology adoption, her company has become a name to reckon with in the technology implementation in the road sector as well.

Mr. Sanjay Bhatia B. Com (Hons.) LLB, has more than 43 years’ experience in metal packaging industry, currently he is Managing Director of Hindustan Tin Works Ltd.,(leading manufacturers of tin containers for food, and non-food products).

Throughout his career Mr. Bhatia has been associated with leading Chambers of Commerce and has represented the industry on various committees set up by Central & State Governments from time to time, including Kelkar Task Force on Simplification of indirect taxes in India.

Mr. Dilip Chenoy

Mr. Dilip Chenoy is currently Secretary General, FICCI.

His last full-time assignment was when he served as Managing Director & CEO of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). NSDC is a public-private partnership whose objective is to foster private sector investment and initiatives in training and skill development. While at NSDC he served as co-chair of the Australia-India Joint working group on Skill Development.

Currently, Mr Chenoy is a member of the Board of Governors, IILM, New Delhi (a leading business school); of the Board of studies, All India Management Association (AIMA), He also advises start-ups including organisations in the digital, education, skills and livelihood space. He also served as the Chairman of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET) a fully government funded integrated skill development and degree-awarding institution.

He was awarded the Indian Achievers Award in 2018; The Game Changer Award in 2015 and the Rashtriya Media Ratan Award in 2013.

Prior to NSDC, Mr Chenoy was Director General of the advocacy group for the automobile industry in India, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). He also served as the Deputy Director General of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He was a member of the Harvard Business School project that worked on the competitiveness of Indian industry with Professor Michael Porter.

He is a fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science (WAPS).
